How To Get Here
For our out-of-town guests, Baltimore Washington International (BWI) is the closest airport to the reception site, while Dulles International (IAD) often offers the most budget-friendly flights. For a variety of reasons, we do not recommend flying into Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA).
GETTING AROUND: We highly recommend renting a car for the weekend to travel easily between our venues and any sightseeing you might want to do.
Where to Stay
To help everyone adjust their travel plans, we have secured room blocks at 3 Hotels. Two are in Hagerstown, MD, 10 minutes north of the venue site, and one is in Frederick, MD, halfway between the venue site and Dickerson, MD (about 30 min each way). Please follow the hotel-specific details below for booking and deadlines for each hotel.
If you booked at the previous hotels in Owings Mills and Towson, you should have no problems canceling your reservation and getting a refund.

Vacation Rentals?
If you’re looking at an Airbnb or VRBO, we recommend staying in Hagerstown or Frederick. If you have little ones or want a town that’s nice to walk through, we recommend you stay in Fredrick. It is 25-30 min from the venue, but the riverfront is nice, and there are more food options than in Hagerstown. The map below shows where these areas are in proximity to the NEW venue.
Note that the two hotels for which we have room blocks in Hagerstown are 10 min from the venue site.
Around Town
One of the things Mark and I love about the DMV area and where we live is how much there is to do here. So if you have a few days before or after the festivities begin, we highly recommend checking out the following areas:
The town of Frederick is the hometown of the famous chef brothers, Michael and Bryan Voltaggio. It is about 25- 30 minutes southeast of Boonsboro (ceremony town) on I-270. It’s a town filled with great food, regional parks, and wineries. It’s perfect if you have some spare time during wedding week and want a nice stroll. Our favorite places are Carroll Creek Park, Frederick Coffee Co & Cafe, Rak Brewing Company, and Wye Oak Tavern (owned by… you guessed it… the Voltaggio brothers)

BALTIMORE CITY
Mark’s hometown! Mark was born and raised in “Bmore”. It’s also the city where we had our first official date. Baltimore is the closest city on our list to the reception site. Like most major cities, Baltimore has many safe and some questionable areas. For this reason, we highly recommend you visit the city during daytime hours. Attractions, sites, food, and areas you don’t want to miss are:
Inner Harbor Along the Pier: Baltimore Aquarium and Military Ships. You can take the water taxi, which gives a gorgeous view of the city, to:
Fells Point. A nice area to walk around. Grab a drink at the Pendry Hotel, gelato at Pitango, and the best crab cakes at Koopers
Food: Loch Bar, Jimmy’s Seafood, Doppio’s Pizza, Momma’s On The Half Shell, Koopers, Under Armour Harbor - Sagamore Distillery
